Hello dear lovers and friends of Vilnius CI & Performance minifestival, lovers of contact improvisation and even curious beginners and followers!
Welcome ♥ to a cosy and warm ambience to study and co-create together.
You will meet contact dancers and teachers from Lithuania, other Baltic and neighbour countries.
We are glad to continue this beautiful event nevertheless the conditions of physical separation and distance in relation with actual pandemic situation. We invite us to meet for this 14th (& online) edition respecting the laws of our regions concerning hygiene and isolation, by using IT communication support – zoom. Thus,
– if you are isolated alone, you will be able to connect through the image with others,
– if you are isolated with your dancing partner, family or friends, we encourage you to participate as mini-group,
– and if you can still organize live meetings in you region, we encourage you to do that and join us as a bigger group
for some shared moments together and all over the world.
When? End of November-middle of December 2020, date will be announced soon.
We will have a beautiful mini-mini festival, just one precious day, full of improvisations, contact dances, performances, jams, live music, spontaneity and happiness.
With years for some of us this festival became a meeting place, a tradition, a ritual, an initiation, and even a longing… to meet once a year in the shared dance, and live a weekend together with others sharing and practicing the same values.
This year we will be more conscious of our re-connection with ourselves and the others, the essentials of our practice and meetings, freedom to simply be.
Keywords: relax and listen, co-meditation, essential, sharing kindness, serenity.
We will have a class on CI and Tango, some performances, mini-underscore Jam, meditation in movement, elements of Samara Yoga. And… we will be accompanied by fascinating and uplifting live music from Wolfram Maria Schröckenfuchs.
